Anyone know how many of these they have a year?

There was one at the start of the year, but I wasn't ready to buy stuff then, and another has just started, but I'm not sure we can afford our stuff this time. Is their going to be another do you think? The stuff looks really good and is (normally) within our budget.

They seem to have them about every three months round here. The wipes are fab, last time was a box of 12 packs for about a fiver. I still can't move for them

I'll add wipes to my list

Hi,

We saw that advert last night and the deals look great. Is it worth stocking up now or can I risk waiting for a bit to see if they have another deal nearer to my due date? I am only 14 weeks at the moment! Do you know if they have newborn baby nappies in the deal or is it only the ones they showed on the advert?

MrsC2010 · 19/04/2010 14:57

I'm sure they'll have another one, this is their second this year!

It starts tomorrow doesn't it?

Hevster · 19/04/2010 15:03

in my experience over the last couple of years they tend to have these events in the spring and autumn but thats no guarentee

waitingimpatiently · 19/04/2010 15:37

Just look around all the time, even when the baby and toddler event isn't on.

My sister is like a hawk when it comes to bargains and she found asda's own brand nappies size 1 for £1 so even though I'm only 19 weeks I've already got 11 packs of these nappies haha!

It's worth buying gradually so you're not spending loads at once.

BranflakeGirl · 20/04/2010 20:29

waitingimpatiently - Blimey, that's a lot of nappies!

I am ever on the hunt for a bargain too. Sadly, I mostly spot them when there is nothing but dust in the ol' piggy bank. Am trying to convince DH that we need to buy gradually but he's so laid back he barely notices time passing...was quite when I told him we were 1 week off the halfway point today. Mind you, by the time we got into town and I suggested getting baby stuff was a little more important than him buying ANOTHER M & S shirt for himself he went back to the old "We've got ages yet" routine. Given that I have not had a 2nd trimester burst of energy and only manage 1 or 2 days a week where I don't feel like a zombie I would not say the next 20 weeks can be called "ages"!!! Grrr!

Hi branflakegirl, I am a manager for Asda and can safely say we more than likely will be having another one later on in the year, this is the 3rd one we've done since april last year so you still have time to get some great bargains later on, I am 36 weeks and have bought loads on the baby event it is fab. Goodluck x

moaningminniewhingesagain · 21/04/2010 13:31

I bought the travel cot in the last one as ours was worn out. It was £25 and really good. We have a big stash of bargain wipes too, even without the baby event on the multipacks are good value.

Don't buy too many newborn nappies, they grow out of them super quick I caught the advert this week too but I can't think of anything I need at the moment!

BranflakeGirl · 21/04/2010 19:10

babymeg - Thanks. You must've saved a packet what with the event AND collegue discount!!!!!
So, any hints as to whether it will be before September 15th
