Haven't had 16 week check

I'm now 17 weeks. I left a message for the MW last week as they hadn't arranged an appointment. I'm not worried about anything and this is my 2nd. Shall I just leave it and wait for scan or contact them again? Thanks

actually, neither have I and I didn't realise til I saw your post! I'm 21wks tomorrow and this is my 2nd too. Got my scan next week so I'll be waiting for that. Not sure this helps you much though!
Do you remember what's meant to happen in the 16wk check?

I have to make my appointment with my community midwife at 16 weeks. Was yours meant to be at the hospital?

LOL! Good luck with your scan Miamla . It's only BP, wee check and a listen to baby's heartbeat I think and maybe a prod of uterus!

don't worry, if you can't get hold of them and want a check up go to GP instead, just check BP/wee/FH

nunnie no just a bog standard appointment. I can't remember what happened with DS and it was only 2.5 years ago (how dreadful). I think they contacted me. I do know my MW for DS has gone back to hospital work so they maybe a bit thin on the ground.

oooh well we can't be missing out on the prodding of our uterus'! but i guess its important to check bp so i'll give the mw a call

MadameCheese · 15/04/2010 12:13

Thanks Mum, as I said I'm not really concerned but don't want to appear lacks and not bother if I should

I can't remember my last one either tbh, it was 3 years ago.
I do remember my mw telling me she will see me at 16 weeks, and I just make and appointment nearer the time.

I will forget though, memory isn't brilliant when I'm not pregnant, it gets very poor when I am.

She mentioned listening to the heart rate not sure what else she has planned though.
