I'll be going to the Glastonbury Festival this year, and by the time it rolls round I'll be 22-23 weeks.

Just really looking for advice from anyone who has been to a festival whilst preggers, i.e. how to cope with all your friends getting merry on the legendary cider and how you found it generally, also anything you may have brought with you that you couldn't live without.

This is my first so I have no idea how my body will be treating me during pregnancy. Maybe I should just spend the entire time in the stone circle being blessed...

Thanks - Kara

We watched Stevie Wonder from right at the back on top of the hill. We took fold out chairs, a blanket, a beer for DH and a banana milkshkae for me. It was magic!

Was pleasantly surprised by the lovely smoothies, fresh veggie food and cream teas on offer - I usually head straight for the cider bus!

My top tips for Womad would be to take a She Wee or Whiz Freedom so you can have a wee into a bottle in your tent at night, a consider ate DH / DP who acts as a packhorse and doesnt get blind drunk and try to camp in family camping for a peaceful nights sleep!

Getting your bump painted will get you so much love, I was stopped about 40 times a day by people wanting a photo or wishing me well.

Agree with this chap - a 75 year old Glasto virgin who says Glastonbury embodies the true British spirit!
