Getting pretty worried now. Pg with DC4 and am 19 weeks and have felt no movements. With all of my previous pgs, I have felt each one earlier than the previous. I felt my last DC from 12 weeks, and the movements gradually got stronger as time progressed.
I have 20 wk scan next week and am terrified.
Has anyone else had 3 or more DCs and yet felt the 3rd or 4th much later than previous pgs?
Even with my last DC I had placenta at the front, but had no probs feeling movements from early on.
Why am I not feeling anything? I am so very worried, that I'm not doing myself any favours I know! Hope this makes sense as feel like am going mad..

i felt my third one later than the first 2, and liek you i was quite worried, i think i finally felt him around 21/22 weeks, it was quite late

i don't think anything anyone says will stop you worrying though!

It could just be the position of the placenta - If that is to the front you wouldnt feel the baby as much x

Meeeeeeee. (4th child) I felt flutterings but nothing definite and even they were rare. I started getting proper kicks about Christmas time when I was 21 weeks.

I have an anterior placenta , dr explained that was why.

i'm 19 weeks with dc3 and have had no movement yet.
with dc2 i was feeling movement at 15-16 weeks. am not worried as i heard the heartbeat at a mw appointment last week.
i am carrying a bit of extra padding this time around as i've not really lost all my baby weight from dc2 whos only 17 months and i got pregnant when i had only just stopped bf him. at least thats what i'm telling myself!

Have you tried getting in the bath, floating on your front, and letting your belly rest lightly on the bottom of the bath?

I could always feel an odd movement like that.

I was the exact same as you, fourth pregnancy no movement before 20 weeks, DD3 I had felt at 12 weeks so was quite worried. Asked the MW to find heartbeat but she refused before 20 weeks had a private scan at 24 weeks and the placenta was anterior which led to the movements being muffled.

Am 37 weeks now and getting feet sticking out of me.

Thankyou! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
Ladyoftheflowers; never tried that one but may give it a go; if I can be sure I won't get stuck!!
I've had anterior placentas each pg, but that has never stopped me feeling movements before. Maybe it's a really juicy FAT placenta...
