for the past 24-48hrs on/off i've had a mixture of..

mentrual type aches
mild period cramps
mild lower back ache
few 'eyebrow raising' twinges
urgent urges to poo/wee (sorry ladies tmi!)
increased vaginal discharge

hmmmm?
i haven't had a 'show'like in the books etc, no contraction type BH tummy things? and there is no regular patteren to things happening? (ps.i had a Pulminary Embolism at 34wks and am injecting daily doses of Fragmin if makes difference)

oh yes, this is my first baby btw!! what do you think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It all sounds promising. I know nothing about the fragmin though.
I woke up at 2 am one morning with nos 2, 3, 5 and 6 from your list, and DS (my first too) was born before lunchtime. I didn't have a classic "show" either... good luck!

PS No harm in giving the midwife a call. I was of the "stay at home as long as possible" persuasion, so ignored it all until I could ignore it no longer

I'm 37+5 and been having period type pain, cramps, backache, urges to go to the loo (like I've got a stomach bug) but I've not had a show, I don't think the baby has dropped and whenever I mention it to the midwife they aren't that bothered.
Its my first and until the cramps become regular or I get a show or other symptom I'm not going to bother the MW.

As long as the baby is still moving about then I'm happy. When I say happy read bloody uncomfortable with SPD!

Poor you having a PE, I agree to call your MW if only to see what she thinks. Hope all goes well
