I had this in my first pregnancy although am fine this time. I think it was anxiety (although less likely with DC6?) - the thing that helped the most was hypnotheraphy before bedtime, but it was still awful. BTW when DD came out she was a champion sleeper so no correlation!

I'm almost 38wks and can't sleep. Haven't slept through the night since August. Now even if I don't need the loo or having a BH I'm wide awake and thinking about things. Its very frustrating.

Im only 9 weeks and just cant get to sleep at night, even though im really tired. And when i finally do drop off about 1-2am I have really nasty dreams recently...anyone else had this?

They are mostly about my hubby running off with someone else, or me in car crashes, or other bad stuff happening ..its v worrying!

Jwiggles, I too am (almost) at 9 weeks and am having terrible dreams, mostly about my 2yo DS getting hit by a car. To be honest, I've usually forgotten about them by the time I'm eating breakfast, but they often stop me from getting back to sleep after I've woken up to go for a wee (another thing that's stopping me from getting a decent night's sleep!).

10 weeks and I can´t remember the last night when I didn´t need to get up at least once for a wee.

Yep me too, am 34 weeks and seem to wake up most nights for a couple of hours at least. My brain just wont switch off. Think its caused mostly by anxiety. Going to try some craniosacral therapy next week as this has helped me in the past when anxiety has stopped me sleeping.
