hiya,
really just looking to see if anyone has any advice/experience. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with first baby. i had bleeding (brown/old blood) at 7 and 14 weeks and all was fine. Then about 10 days ago i had very light bleeding (pinky discharge/fresh red) along with cramps and tightening over my bump, went into maternity care unit and had scan, all was fine, placenta not low and bleeding/cramps stopped by itself.
I now have more bleeding tonight, light and pinky but no cramps.
Do you think i would be over reacting by calling maternity tonight?
After previous MC i think i have worried about everything this time!

would love to hear if anyone else has had this! Thanks x

It won't hurt to call maternity. I had similar with my first pg and went in everytime (27, 33, 35 and finally admitted at 39 weeks) Our MW said they would rather I came in and was checked than be cautious and spend my night worrying.

Hi, i had bleeding on and off with both my pregnancies, it turned out to be a cervical erosion here, if it is this the baby will be fine but you still need to get it checked out, you could ring maternity and ask them what they think.

Give the maternity unit a ring for some advice over the phone. They may advise you to go into the day unit tomorrow, if they have one of course.
Try not to worry, easier said than done.
I work in maternity this happens frequently and 9 times out of 10 no reason for the bleeding is found.
Take care

I had bleeding at 28 weeks with DC1 and got kept in overnight for monitoring. Everything was fine, and they never found out the cause. I would definitely call the MW if I were you, just to be on the safe side.

spoke to the midwife, she's not too worried but thinks it may be a urine infection. i've to go to GP in morning and call back if bleeding gets worse and they will take me in.
feel quite reassured and know GP will be thorough with me tomorrow.
Thanks
