Odd period/indigestion pain - 36 weeks - how normal?

Hi all. I am 36 weeks +. Having odd pains all day - like period pain extending into lower back. They come and go, last 15-odd secs each time - like indigestion cross period pain. Ow. Also (TMI alert) have been leaking something (presume just the mad extra secretion I have read about?) for last few days, especially in mornings, and am seeing a bit of mucus, so presume might be losing the plug. Thank God for anonymity.

Do not feel in any way like I am in labour, though. (And also do not feel I am in denial.)

Is this normal for late pregnancy?

Do you reckon I could have a UTI?

If it were you would you call midwife now or wait a while and see?

Hi. I had my 3rd baby 4 mnths ago and what you describe sounds exactly like what I experienced in the fews days before I had him. I wasn't sure if it was just braxton hicks/indigestion etc but after going into labour 2 days later I figure it was just very early labour - my body getting prepared. Like you say I didn't feel at all like I was in labour, just like it would maybe start soon - but then didn't. Quite frustrating really! The good news is when it did start properly (after my waters breaking) it all happened very fast and he was born in under 2 hours with no time or need for pain relief! So good luck! If you're not in labour already sounds like you soon will be!
