Hi everyone,

I recently suffered from an early MC and would love to try for another baby BUT i suffer from anxiety/panic attacks's

Before i MC i did feel extra hormonal and felt the anxiety creeping.

What i really want to ask, is it unbearable? has anyone done it and managed there anxiety through out pregnancy?

I have never suffered MC and can't even begin to imagine but thought I would post because I have suffered from anxiety in the past.

I went to my docs about my anxiety and was referrred to a counsellor as I was planning to get married and didn't know how I would cope with being the centre of attention. It worked wonders and am now a complete counselling advocate.

5 months after the wedding I found out I was pregnant and sailed through the whole pregnancy. I had sickness, etc. but used my counselling techniques to ensure I didn't become stressed throughout. I got a bit over-excited at times and always got hett up when I had to have my bp taken (resulting in high bp at 39 weeks) or when I had a scan (sheer excitement) but overall a complete anxiety-free pregnancy.

I have a very stressful job and worked right up into three weeks before my due date. I felt very in control of my state of mind - I just switched from worrying about me to thinking about this tiny creature I was nurturing inside of me. It was my duty to make sure I stayed anxiety-free in order to do that. I'm not suire I could've done this without my previous counselling.

Hope it all works out for you. xxx

Perhaps post this in the MC chat?

I had an early mc and then 2 pgs without any issues. I am fairly highly strung and I think you will always worry more than people that haven't experienced a mc, but it wasn't unmanagable for me. I had early scans at 7 weeks which was very reassuring, it is early days, give yourself a bit of time, it does get easier - hugs

i had a mc and was really worried and kind of knew it wasn't right. i then went on to have a baby and although i did feel anxious i knew that the baby was ok from the start. i wentr for early scans though at 5 weeks and 8 weeks and 12 weeks so it put my mind at ease - you can go to the early preg scanning unit if you have had prev mcs.
you will always worry until its out and you can see its face, and then you will still keep worrying.
do something to ease your stress, exercise, yoga, counselling

Thank you everyone,

I'm a massive worrier regardless of the MC but before we started to TTC i had a terrible feeling, not sure why even when i saw the BFP i had a feeling of dread!!

This time i feel excited can't wait to try, but just worried in genrall that my hormones may trigger the panic attacks, and the horribke anxious feeling that i hate.

x
