Hi,

I'm 15 weeks now and recently have started with shooting pains in my lady bits,(dont know wot else to call it lol). Anyway the pain I get just comes on all of a sudden and its like an elcetric shock, so painful.

I also started with right sided abdo pain but recently im getting a very heavy feeling down below, it's worse when I stand up like a pulling sensation.

Recently been on the early pregnancy unit and they said it may be constipation?.

I have hydronenephorsis too, I feel like Im banging my head against a brick wall, I do get constipated but I control this with movicol.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Xx

Yeah, am also 15 weeks and I've been getting the lady bits pain as well. Shooting pain is a good description - certainly not a constant pain. Not as badly as it sounds like you are getting them, although it did wake me up last night. I haven't asked anyone about it - just assumed it was part of things stretching and giving. Am not constipated (well not this week anyway!) so that's not causing it for me. Am a bit paranoid about SPD (I'm a bit hyper-mobile at the best of times) so am going to mention it at my MW appointment next week. When's your next MW appointment? If it's that painful, and it sounds like it is, why not give them a call? Hmmm, don't think I've said anything that's of much help. Really hope you feel better. X

Yeah I got really bad pains around then. Stopped me in my tracks sometimes.
Now I get more period dull type pains (stretchy baby pains).
But all was well with me - I had a mw appt yesterday and he/she was still in there (heard heartbeat) so I wouldn't worry too much unless accompanied by bleeding or something else.

Spoke to midwife told me to do pelvic floor exercises, she said she thinks its just baby and the fact that I'm bigger this time maybe it's putting more pressure on me.

Thanks for the replys x x
