advice plz

I found out a week ago that i was 5 weeks pregnant. I was feeling fine until i did the test. Last week i was bleeding alittle (like a period) I went and had a scan yesterday and every thing was fine with baby, other than i have some bruising on my uterus (dont know why). When i got home i felt alittle discomfort and abit of bleeding again. Today the pain has got worse and the bleeding still happening. I dont know what to do, I am i having a miscarrage any advice or help would be great. Ive never been pregnant before.

hello so sorry to hear you're not feeling good. i am now 11 weeks but around the same time i had a little bleed too with 1 sided pain and really worried the pregnancy was ectopic. took myself off to gp who did an internal and said it didnt look like mc but couldnt rule out ectopic without a scan, they then sent me straight to hospital. over the next 3 weeks they couldnt see anything, convinced i had mcd i went for the 4th scan and there was my baby.
now i know your situation isnt exactly the same but what i wanted to say was your bleed could be nothing, could be a period (i had this with ds too) look at your dates. also when you went to hospital for a scan you shouldve been given some kind of paperwork with a phone number on, maybe an appointment card? give the ward a call and see if you can go back for another scan to reasure yourself or go through your gp. i had alsorts of aches and pains with ds this time it was a little fluid on my pelvis and an extra period, you should get checked again either way. keep us posted though

Thanks for you advice however i think ive lost baby i was up all night with the worse pains ive ever had in my life and theres been alot of blood. I was to scared to go to hospital, i am feeling better now but still bleeding a huge amount with slight pains. I do have a number for the epu where i went for my scan so do you think i should ring them or wait 2 weeks until my next scan

oh deli im so sorry to hear this, please ring the epu, i found they went the extra mile to make sure we were ok, they will giv you lots of support.
