A possible breech baby

I am 37 weeks today and my midwife has booked me an emergency scan for this Wednesday as she is concerned that the baby may be breech.

If she is, they will try turning her themselves.

Does anyone know if this is as horrible and painful as it sounds? Or am I totally over reacting? Thanks

It's at worst unpleassant but I know people who find it NO big deal.
It's bet to have the ECV otherwise you are "guaranteed" a caesarean! It's always up to you.

The MW may be wrong too.....

my sister had it and said it was uncomfortable but not horrendous (unfortunately also unsucessful) have you also thought about alternative methods, eg some people belive accupunture or reflexology (one of the 2 but i can't recall which) can help to turn a breech baby i'm sure someone on mn can point you in the right direction if you're interested

Also
Pulsatilla 200 taken 3 times (homeopathy)
Moxibustion (accupuncture)
