A little confused

Hi,

I believe myself to be 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. (That is including the extra 2 weeks the doctor adds onto your conception date). I had some blood tests done last Thursday when I considered myself to be 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I got the results today and apparently my hgc level on Thursday was 24,000. The lady on the phone said this was very high and means either I am having twins or I am further along than I thought I was. I have to go for a scan later on this afternoon but I am concerned because I really did think I was only 4 weeks pregnant. I also did one of those tests that tells you how far along you are last week and it said that I was 2-3 weeks pregnant. I am so confused does anyone know anything about hgc levels?

what kind of scan are you going for at 4 weeks?

I wouldn't worry too much about exact dates - you'll only be a week or two out, and in any case babies arrive when they want, so due dates are only a v rough guide anyway!
