Scan at 5 weeks - no heartbeat yet, but 29 mm thick endometrium?!

Hi there,

I am 5 weeks, have had sticky very dark brown muscus when I wipe and after a bowel movement on and off since last Wednesday, with cramping in last 24 hours..

Went to EPAC today, they could see a sac in the scan but they said it was too soon to detect a heart beat... I also have an extra thick (29mm) endometrium, no fluid in the POD..

They took blood and want to check my beta hgc in 48 hours...

What does this sound like to you ladies out there? Is it all over, or not?

I am going out of my mind....

Hi amarilis - fingers crossed that all will be well for you..... I know it is a really tough time ............
definitely did not see a heartbeat with my DC until 6 weeks, so do not read anything into a lack of a heartbeat at 5 weeks.
