Ok, 26weeks, short, fat and am having a major problem with trousers.

I had a pair with ds1 that were from next, they were normal jeans(ie at the back) that had the belly bit at the front in elasticated jersey, they were FAB.

All I can find now are ones that look like noraml jeans, but they have a band of elasticated material at the top OR under the bump jeans.

Im not getting on with either of these, the under the bump fall down/cut into bump when sat down and the ones with the panel look terrible and are equally uncomfortable as the normal jeans material starts where the under the bump jeans is, so same problems.

They must still exist somewhere, please help!!

Do you mean like these ones?

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 04/04/2010 22:47

or did you mean the ones with the whole front in jersey?

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 04/04/2010 22:53

and these
although they all seem to have a waistband under the elasticy bit. La Redoute do have these but unsure of the leg length.

oh and there's these in m&s but again they're not jeans.

there's also these which enable you to wear your regular trousers. Have you looked in H&M by the way? I found their trousers really comfy. And now I'm going to bed .
Hope you manage to find something. Nothing worse than trousers digging into a bump.

I'm in exactly the same position as you - the only over bump jersey-bit jeans I can find in anything over an 18 are far too long. I've resorted to some from Ebay (search for women's clothing, maternity, size whatever and jeans)
and gone mad with some wonderweb and an iron to shorten them. I'd tried underbump and found the exact same problem with feeling like they're falling down and cutting in when I was sitting.
