I am 11 and a half weeks preg with 1st baby and 38, had an ectopic in Oct.... just got 12 week scan thru for next fri - think am having Nuchal fold thingy then too, but letter says I will be seen by the consultant team after the scan. Does that mean there is something wrong or is that just routine? Surely if they had found a prob with bloods or something they wouldn't have left me for 3 weeks from Midwife appt? Is it just because of my age and ectopic? Worry worry worry....

I'm sure my scan letter said I'd see the obstetric team too, it's a general thing they put on the letter and I'm pretty sure it means nothing. I didn't see anyone apart from the sonographer.

When i got my 12 week scan i got sent to a different department to get a different blood test for the nuchal fold test. I think that this is probably the case for you too. If you have already told them that you are wishing to have those optional tests - they need to be done by a different department than the ultrasound dept.
The bloods that were done at your Midwife appt - for me i found out what the results were when i went back for my 16 week appt.
Try not to worry too much - but if it is all consuming - drop your midwife a call (mind you on a bank holiday weekend you might not get far)...
Eat some chocolate girl and try to relax - i know it's tricky though!
