I'm 9 weeks pg with dc2 and over the past few weeks I've had stomach and back pain, which mw said were stretching pains - I remember this from DD. Anyway, Wednesday night I had a teeny bleed. Went to the GP on Thursday, who said it was possibly a urinary infection so gave me a sample pot to to take away. I'd missed the transit for samples for Easter so he told me to take it to A&E which I did. I got well and truly told off by some awful nurse there: I was just doing as my GP said, and I have no idea how it all works! Had more bleeding on Thursday night, so phoned out of hours doctor yesterday. He's pretty much ruled out a urinary infection and said I should get myself to the EPAU to see why it's happened. I've had no more since Thursday, but he appreciated I was concerned etc.
So I need to call my GP on Tuesday to get a referral - I'm guessing I can do this via telephone consultation. This is fine, but I share an office with two people - one in particular I don't want knowing yet - and no-one at work knows yet. There's nowhere I can get any privacy either. Normally I can go in for 10 if I want, but it just so happens that this Tuesday, I need to be in for 8.30. I've thougth about calling in sick but I had a lot of time off sick last year (weeks and weeks; I was very ill with a virus) so would rather not.
Advice anyone?
