Well parenthood often comes with a committed relationship (though not always)

Do you want a partner? You don't mention this in your OP

drloves8 · 01/04/2010 14:53

have you thought of adoption? , mabey an older child . there is loads of kids who need good , kind loving parents. singles can adopt now too. as long as you are suitable , its an option. .

onionman · 01/04/2010 14:58

Yes I could only think that such a venture would mean a committment...

What's wrong with a commitment?

tiredlady · 01/04/2010 15:03

You don't sound overly enthusiastic about a relationship tbh.

frankie3 · 01/04/2010 15:09
Hmm
MumNWLondon · 01/04/2010 15:10

I think you need to say a bit more:

  • are you straight and if so happy to have a relationship with a women? if so i'm sure you could find a women in late 30s/early 40s who would consider having a baby with you
  • or how about a women who already has a child who is looking for a partner and father figure for the child?
  • if you want to do it alone would you be happy to adopt perhaps an older child?
  • are you very rich and able to pursue a suragacy (sp?) arrangement

Dude - try [email protected]

kellze · 01/04/2010 16:57

How weird. This thread reads very oddly.

Also.. There is no greater commitment than to have a child. If you can't commit to a relationship with someone, maybe you should rethink having a child.

lollyhop2girls · 01/04/2010 17:00

I think its one of those computer contractor geeks trolling... They were on some posts I was on yesterday.

Mongolia · 01/04/2010 17:04

"If you can't commit to a relationship with someone, maybe you should rethink having a child."

If he were a woman, would you be saying the same? Well, yes, probably...

Or no, probably we will be telling her not to be silly, about the risk of congenital problems and the dreadful future of having a teenager at home being 70.

BTW, don't worry too much about having CAT facilities, very few people use CAT anyway. Unless (raises eyebrow suspciously...), are you here trying to find a.... date?

This is going to be an interesting thread...

EccentricaGallumbits · 01/04/2010 17:07
