I've been hit with loads of conflicting advice on this so just interested to see what you other mums/to be think. I feel like I've had chronic thrush pretty much from 20 weeks, and am now 33.5, and frankly bloody fed up with it. It doesn't help that I'm really allergic to Canesten pessaries and internal creams. GP prescribed Gyno-Daktarin internal cream back in January which worked for a while, but I've now become really sensitive to that too. It burns and I end up sitting in a bath of cold water. Every morning I have a probiotic drink, I've tried shoving some up there which eases the itching and burning for all of 5minutes. Pre pregnancy I never tried anything else to get rid of thrush except for the oral capsule. I really want to get rid of the infection before labour starts as I'm terrified of baby catching oral thrush. What can I do PLEASE!!

maybe make some dietary changes? as far as i know excess sugar, and any food with yeast can encourage thrush. also things like oranges that grow mould.

don't put probiotic drinks up your lady space!

i remember doing that once with plain yoghurt and i got the most horrific infection.

All the advice I had last time (and I got thrush time after time after time) was You Cannot Take The Oral Thrush Pill. Cream only, unfortunately.
