Not strictly a pregnancy question- also posted in feeding but thought there might be more people passing by here (I hope that's allowed?) Does anyone have one of these? Baby 2 due next week and just refreshing my memory re making up bottles etc- can't find instructions anywhere and i've forgotten how much water you put in and how long you put it on for! (nothing like leaving things until the last minute). Also, is it ok to re-use bottle teats? My friend has kindly given me some bottles that her dd hardly used, is it ok to use the teats or do I need new ones? (have thoroughly scrubbed and checked for damage of course). TIA ladies

It takes 200ml water in the bottom and Yes new teats for your baby.

We bought a microwave steriliser and have hardly bothered with it...it takes 8 minutes, which to me seems aaaages (chickens cook quicker) and was a lot of electricity. We just use sterilising tablets in 8 pints of water now - cheap, and quick and easy.

Thank you both

I've got this steriliser. Which way up is the tray in the bottom supposed to go? The "destructions" don't say.

Bedtimebear - the instrucitons also say that you should put a piece a kitchen towel or something under the steriliser (I'm assuming you've got the one shaped like an ice cream tub) when it's in the micro so that it doesn't have direct contact with the glass rotating plate thingie which I'm sure has a name but can't think what it is. Pregnancy head.....

Ships- mine is quite an old one being re used from DC1. It's round, and the tray thing has like a 'sticky-up' bit in the middle so it can only go one way up... Probably not the same as your lovely new one? Never knew about not touching the revolving thingy, interesting...
