Just wondered if you have a growth scan late in pregnacy will they change your due date if baby is measuring bigger than dates?

I dont think so. I think dating scans are based on early scans as they can go by development which is more sharply defined in early pregnancy if that makes sense.

In late pregnancy a 'normal' baby could be anything from 6-10lbs or so and I doubt they'd change dates.

no. they won't cange the date - dating scans are most accurate early which is why one is offered at 12 weeks.

growth scans are most accurate to compare growth over time so having a single oe is notoriously innacurate - but if 2 or 3 compared over a couple of weeks they can monitor growth (or lack of).

Good, thats a relief.

Baby is 33 weeks but measuring 35+, but last baby was over 10 lbs, so looks like this one is heading that way too.
