Oh happy days - i know it is early days but i refuse to live in the shadow of last years MC, having been at 14 weeks and out of what they call 'safe' I dont think you are until you have the baby in arms, so i am going to relish every minute and not live in fear of the 'ifs' and 'maybes'

I am feeling tremendous and expected 6th December.

In the same boat - let me know

I would be delighted to hear from you

Hello and congratulations!!!!! I too got a BFP today and think my due date is also the 6th December so we can hold hands. I am absolutely terrified as have also been trying for 2 years since the still birth of my son at 23 weeks in March 08. I have also had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and another 2 very early on so naturally I am anxious of things going wrong but I am determind to remain positive that this time will be different, after all I have a very healthy seven year old who proves to me that I can do it!! Good luck to us both and hopefully we will both have a positive outcome together - sending sticky vibes your way XX

Ahh Lou, i have goosepimples!

Seems we are in the same position, just without a DS my end.

Im too going to stay very positive, what will be will be and living in fear of' is it okay' will i get to term' is not going to be good for our stresslevels!

Huge congrats and i look forward to hand holding with you

Oooh how exciting- congrats to you both.

I think I am also due the 6th Dec as well. No 3 for me so none of the first time excitement or nerves but more of a quiet pleasure ;-)). Delighted and also slightly "What Have I Done"...

Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you both.

Hello,

Me too! Found out on Friday, think I'd be due about 2nd Dec. I've had one MMC at 12 weeks and one very early MC in the last year, so am pretty nervous this time round. I like your attitude though!! Only me and DH know as want to be more 'quietly hopeful' than telling everyone, but trying to stay calm and enjoy each day at a time.

Good luck everyone xx

Hiya is anyone else having strong symptoms already? I am surprised to be feeling this sick this early on...I can only be 4 weeks and 4 days but the MS is quite bad as in all day sickness already. I went to my GP today as I need to be referred early on to the ante-natal clinic for an early assessment and should get an appointment week commencing 12th April. How is everyone else doing?

cardamomginger · 31/03/2010 22:31

Great news! Many congratulations!!! XX

DomesticG0ddess · 01/04/2010 12:04

Congratulations! that is great news. My situation is not the same, I had an early mc in Jan at 6-7 weeks and got pg straight after it, so feels like I have been pg forever. I have been worried the whole time, despite a couple of scans, and I have my 12 week scan next week. However, I am going to think like you after that, if all goes well - ie. most risky period is over and if something happens after that then yes it will be awful but I am not going to live in fear of it. Good luck!

Loubie,

No syptoms other than fuller breast and they hurt at night and my damn bladder, its weak as it it, but i am in the loo more than off it. I thought it was just when it presses on your bladder in teh later weeks but its actually the HCG causes a manic blood flow to your bladder!

FVN,

Congratulations my sibling !

Im veryyy excited - early days and going to be a long journey but sod it, its also been a long 9 months to get to this position so i am going to be chirpy and not live in fear of what if !
The 12 week mark as we learnt doesnt mean were safe- so we decided not to keep sssshhh until then, id be sat on the edge of the sofa stressed tapping my feet til then, so at least this way i can relax !

Its my birthday soon and we have 2 parties and off were supposed to be to a big club (not a usual event) so there is NOOOO WAYYY id be able to keep it a secret.

Who says you have to keep quite til 12 weeks, we dont like traditions!

Anyway what will be will be !

What time is DH home???

Lots of love

xx

Cozie, that's fantastic news, I'm so happy for you! I'm due 29th November after trying for about 2 1/2 years and then successful IVF, and it's the best feeling in the world!!!
