I am 15 weeks pregnant, I have been so excited until now but this last few days i feel really down and I cry at nothing, I feel useless sometimes because I keep forgetting things and doing silly things

Yep, Are you me?

It's all hormones. It does not make you useless but it does make for some very funny conversation when you look back on all these things after baby is born.

When I was pregnant with Ds I was on a bus ready to pay and dropped 20p. I cried because I couldn't pick it up, then cried even more when someone picked it up for me.

And this was just one of numerous different things I cried at whilst pregnant.

When are you due? My dc2 is due on 17th.

scooby16 · 29/03/2010 22:26

I'm due 19th. I feel bad for feeling sad because I wanted to be pregnant for so long but i just can't shake it off. I thing I'm so bored aswell I miss chillin out with a beer or a glass of wine maybe im only startin to miss these things now. I feel so lonely my husband works away during the week so I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself.

Oh please don't feel sad. I know exactly what you mean though - I'm due in Sept. and can barely watch the news at the moment because it sets me off weeping. It's all the hormones, which are a really good thing of course - shows that your body is doing what it's meant to. It's difficult when you feel sad and can't shake it off though. Lots of people start feeling a lot better around the middle, which is just around the corner

P.S. Are you on the Sept. antenatal thread? Can be nice just to read other people off-loading too!

Hi everyone

My dc2 is due on the 18th, and I am sooo hormonal! I cried at Die Hard... is definitely what DH thought on that one!

And my ms can't make it's mind up!

Ah well. The joys!

I wasn't this sick with DS, so my mum is quietly jumping up and down with glee, hoping bump is a girl.

lifeas3plus1 · 30/03/2010 11:47

Aww scooby, My Dp works away during the week too so I know the feeling. I just try to keep myself busy. Quite easy when I have an 11 month old to entertain. Even if it's just popping into town for a coffee and coming home again.

Hi all im due 5th Sep with my 3rd, I cried all the way through married single other last week (recorded it last night.) then went to bed and cried loads more hubby couldn't understand why i was so sad?

Congratulations everyone and good luck with your pregnancys

designerjooles · 30/03/2010 16:38

Yeah - try not to be too sad. I am due the 10th and cry at literally ANYTHING. Jeremy Kyle, a remotely chilled out song, when the husband ate the rest of the cheese, in the aqua natal class the other day because i felt a bit lonely...
We are all going through the same - so you're not alone! Come chat on here with us...

hello girlies, im due 24th, with my 4th baby, my others are 18, 15, 13. so am starting again, they say its the middle trimester is the best, hmm still waiting, still light headed, still feel ill at cooking food , cant sleep and look 6 months pregs. nothing fits and cant be arsed to do anything. my hubby has to drag me shopping once a week, (not like me), i decided to be sterilised. i have had 5 consec missc, and not bothred the last 10 yrs with a baby. started 2 yrs ago to try again, and spent the last 3 half months panicking, at every twinge and pain. my poor mw. plus i have to have a few more blood tests, and cos off my maternal build i have to go to hosp ever so often. i know i should be gratefull. but the more i watch one born every minute, it makes me think twice xxx

lenga01 · 31/03/2010 12:53

I'm the same Any little thing will set me off a the moment, even little things like the water not being the right temp when washing up lol! It's strange as I was not emotional at all with my first!

tartyhighheels · 31/03/2010 13:02
