Argh - today's paranoia! Had windows replacd, now realise they might have had lead in the paint.

Had double glazed windows put in. We put dust covers everywhere we could, then wiped down with damp cloths.

We found out yesterday that the windows were older than we thought, now I am paranoid that the lead in the windows could harm my developing baby now that we have had them removed. Duh!!

Unless they were actively sanding the old window frames down to the wood and there were clouds of dust from the paint that was on the old frames I really don't think you have anything to worry about. The dust will be from drilling into the brickwork of the house to fit the new frames. Ripping the old frames out isn't going to make any lead-paint-dust.
