Yes. DD1 at 38 weeks weighing 7lb 8oz and DD2 at 37 weeks weighing 7lb 11oz. At 36 weeks you are considered as "term" and treated the same as a woman at 40/41/42 weeks. As long as mum and baby are well then there is nothing to worry about.

mw said head is 3/4 engaged

early engagement doesnt always mean early labour..Im nearly 35 weeks and have been 4/5 engaged since 33 weeks..MW told me that the baby can unengage again

Dd1's head was engaged at 32 weeks and was born at 39 weeks weighing 7lb 8oz. If its her first then its very common for the head to engage early. Dd2's head did not engage until i was in labour.

Can't remember with DS1 but DS2 engaged at 35 and was 4 days late, DS3 at 36 then I got Norovirus and un-engaged him with horrific wretching and he came 4 days late and DD is now 3/5 engaged at 37 weeks and am expecting to go over again!

My 1st engaged at 35 weeks. Gave birth at 41+6. GP told me baby would be early which is why he wouldn't refer me for physio for my back and pelvis pain. Mentioned this to midwife a few weeks later and said the GP was just wrong.

Early engagement means nothing. Especially with a first baby.

DD was fixed and 4/5 engaged at 31 weeks. She stayed right there for a further 8 weeks. MW was clear throughout that it meant nothing.

DS was engaged at about 35 weeks if I remember right. He was born at 36+6 weighing 6lb5 with no problems at all.
