I'm 37+3 and feel ughhh, ache all over,, legs almost give way when I get up. My tummy skin is so tight it feels like it's gonna bust open. And all my insides feel like they're gonna fall out when I go toilet :-s
Sorry if TMI!

Also 37+3 and for the very first time ever I'm sitting infront of Jeremy Kyle with my feet up, my laptop, the papers and my copy of Grazia and I am going to do nothing until I pick my big ones up from school. I am absolutely exhausted, have been to the loo 5 times this morning and my pelvis is really sore. Generally I feel fine but just today it feels like it has got on top of me.

FatSeal · 23/03/2010 10:11

I can't decide on the worst- the burping up acid sick in your sleep, the million loo trips, or the feeling that you just cannot move off the sofa because you need a nap at 10am. The actual clunking and creaking in the back of your pelvis when you waddle walk. The fact that the baby hasn't dropped yet (36+2) as it's the 2nd, so it ginormous and yet still kicking you in the lungs. groan

Keep repeating to self "nearly there, nearly there".

Off for a wee...

tinylion · 23/03/2010 12:55

32 + 5 and stomach so big looks like overstuffed sofa. The indigestion is a killer! I have a baby bottom just under my ribs (I'm only 4 foot 11 so everything is squashed) and 2 feet under one boob. All I do is burp acid at everyone. And I'm massive! The toilet and sofa and office chair creak when I sit down, my ankles are like big sausages and I have ages til I give birth!! I'm asleep by 7pm every night and still tired in the morning. I must be a good size 18 and my bottom is now so big it overflows the kitchen chair. And my toddler has no where to sit on my lap...moan, moan!

strawberrycrumble · 23/03/2010 12:58

40+1 here and extremely fed up! Feel so big and clumsy now, seem to be dropping everything and bending down for it is becoming a real chore. As for the 1 hourly toilet trips in the night, aaaghh!
Please not much longer now!

thedollshouse · 23/03/2010 13:01

37+2 here. Glad its not just me with the burping up acid in your sleep. I woke up the other night choking on my own vomit. It was very scary! I also have awful water retention, I am massive!

On the plus side I have spent this entire pregnancy with various viruses and flu bugs and for the last month I haven't had anything (touch wood). I even managed to avoid the cold that dh and ds have had recently. So although I don't feel great I probably feel the best that I have done since September.

flybynight · 23/03/2010 15:50

36 weeks - Piles that have my GP saying "wow, I've never seen anything like THAT before". He reckons I'll need an op after the baby is born. I'm just worried that giving birth will turn me inside-out. I'm halfway there already! (Sorry if TMI!)

MumNWLondon · 23/03/2010 16:29

Oh dear! I feel for you all. The acid sick and piles sound terrible.

I'm 36+1 and can't really think of anything to moan about - no indigestion (only eat small meals though), seem to be sleeping ok, no stretchmarks, not that big (people saying oh you only look about 6 months). Still at work for another 3 weeks (!) still going to gym 3 times a week, although think might switch to swimming soon!

Yes I do need to go to the toilet at least once, sometimes twice per night, and yes baby is in my ribcage, and perhaps I am bit clumsy - but hey, not that much more to go.

ARbaby · 23/03/2010 17:39

37+5 here. I understand what you're going through flyby night. I've seen my GP this morning about piles. She had a brief look and confirmed that what I've got, as if they could be anything other!.

It's catch22. I get heartburn so I take a load of tablets throughout the day which increases my constipation problem, so I wind up with piles, so then I drink lactulose like its pop and it's so sweet that it gives me heartburn so I take some more tablets for that which gives me more constipation. As if this cycle isn't bad enough I get another doctor ringing me to let me know I have to take iron tablets which can give you constiption.

So, I take a trip to the chemist for iron tablets, plus gaviscon for the constipation the iron tablets are going to give me, and bum cream for the piles that the constipation caused by the iron tablets will have given me....Arrrgggghhhhhh!!! Thank god only a few weeks to go.

MumNWLondon · 23/03/2010 18:41

ARbaby - don't take the iron tablets, take spatone instead - no constipation.

yetanothernickname · 23/03/2010 18:48

Oh I'm not the only one blessed with piles!

Something I was embarrased to talk about even with midwife.
I've dealt with it a few months and don't see what can be done? It's just a case of pushing it back it after using the loo (cringe).
How do creams help, and how could an operation help?
I was getting paranoid about what the midwife is gonna see when I'm pushing baby out :-s
So glad it's more common that I thought!

and is it just me? or does anyone else, get up bursting for toilet, have a little wee, think you're finished, flush chain, then quickly have to sit back down and another gallon of wee comes out!
I'm scared I've lost control of my bladder altogether
I miss the days when I could have a wee on demand and know it was all out and gone.

ToffeeAddict · 23/03/2010 18:58

39 weeks today.

Sick of feeling like a fat blimp, am only 5 ft and have put on just over 3 stone, but on the whole am pretty comfortable still. Baby hasn't dropped yet though, so feel breathless quite a lot.

The worst thing for me is that it seems like the time that the baby will arrive has been just around the corner for a while, and yet even now it could be 3 weeks off - so near and yet so far!!

EmmaBemma · 23/03/2010 19:02

lol at Queen Of Tact MumNWLondon. "oh dear! poor everyone. I feel fine! tra-la-la, just off to the gym"

flybynight · 23/03/2010 19:04

yetanothernickname Top peeing tip - pee, rock backwards and try again, rock forwards so the baby weight hits your bladder, pee again. You should have a completely empty bladder after this. Its not as much of a faff as it sounds! And it is really handy before bed.

SmallShips · 23/03/2010 19:05

36+2.

Hideous period type pains for over a week now. They are driving me up the wall. Third baby so I reckon my body has just given up!

Getting tired again now too, DH has been on deployment for the last 8 months and is home in 2 weeks.. YAY.. off to bed until my due date!

Not looking forward to feeling like this for possibly the next 5 weeks or so!

MumNWLondon · 23/03/2010 19:11

yes, perhaps tactless, sorry! but i have to keep on going as am working until the end1

FatSeal · 30/03/2010 13:12

Back again for another moan after last night's vomit inhalation incident. Could I not wake up a bit before I am actually sick, it is the most horrible feeling to wake as the acid is pouring onto your tongue, and getting it back down is almost impossible. Yuk yuk yuk yuk YUK!

Good tip for the wee thing flybynight, I came up with this too, I think the head must act like a ballcock valve on your bladder, so if you can move it about a bit it seems to do the trick. FFS the things you have to think of!

ronx · 30/03/2010 13:17

MumNWLondon Your message about going to the gym made me chuckle, too!

HoopsAndBelly · 30/03/2010 13:23

39+5 today and being taken in to be induced tomorrow due to severe SPD....thank god

can't walk, can't sleep, can't decide whether I want to sit down/stand up, can't eat without burping acid......

a tip I was told about weeing, if you lean forward after the first part it releases another bit, keep rocking back and forward until bladder is empty, even if it takes 5 minutes or more......

merryxmasfellowbumps · 30/03/2010 13:53

hoopsandbelly i suffer from terrible spd and im 39+1 today , how did you go about being induced early ?
just curious , is it something you ask for?

preggarschick · 30/03/2010 15:21

37+6 today 1st pregnancy!
sometimes you feel like you are the only suffering, so its actually nice to be able to read that its not just you.
constantly needin to pee,
think i'm havin Braxton Hicks?
look like i've swallowed a beachball

I have been so crabbit and grumpy! not particularly with my husband but with others. I find myself not able to talk to my sister in-law at the moment( feel quite horrible bout it),i know she means well but she is constantly asking me how i'm feeling, if i'm making a cup of tea or folding washing etc always asking to give me a hand where in fact its these things that keep me going if you get what i mean???
Please tell me if i'm being a complete bitch.

HoopsAndBelly · 30/03/2010 16:13

merryxmas I went to see my midwife and asked to see the consultant and begged him to induce me, he agreed after seeing me in absolute agony trying to walk.....I think he felt a bit sorry for me

rubberduckling · 30/03/2010 16:40

37+3 today. Have had weeks of regular contractions that go on for few hours then stop and don't come to anything. Getting woken most nights. Have toddler as well - worn out...

Also pretty housebound now as any walking brings on constant Braxton Hicks that are just so uncomfortable.
