any advice at all would be great...just home after day at work, teaching nsecondary art so fairly full on. have just over a week left, a whole ton of work to do, handover to new head of dept and teacher, end of term stuff, finishing work with classes etc..never mind the actual teaching, before I am done, with long days (8 until 5 at least) with hour commute, then more to do when get home..
And I feel horrible! 36 weeks nearly and I have been really lucky so far, but now am on iron tablets as low iron and tired, itchy all over, achey back and neck, rib flare, with sciatica and just horrible stiff feeling all over, have to turn like a thunderbird puppet! Not to mention the general feeling of being kicked in the bits everytime I move and walking like john wayne...
Feet and ankles have now started swelling, and can hardly sleep through restless legs, worry, and generally feeling uncomfortable.

I am trying to keep active, swimming and yoga, and have been seeing an osteopath for my back which helps, but struggling to fit it all in with the work I need to do, and getting appointments is a nightmare, so realistically wont be able to see anyone till I am done at work now.
DH is away until thursday, so some of this is feeling sorry for myself, I'm sure...

but any suggestions on what to do to keep myself going until next weds - finishing work early is not an option, and neither is taking a sick day - have exam groups and a ton of stuff I can only do there...I just cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Chin up and chest out! I feel for you and can only imagine how you are feeling (I am v early on) but it sounds miserable. Treat yourself to a bath tonight with lots of lovely oils to help with the itching and achy muscles. Just keep going and think... this time next week! Good luck.

Thanks - did I also mention that this pregnancy has severely affected my ability to type coherently...

Will go for swim after a nice cuppa...see if that helps!
