Hi there, Just wondering if anyone had any experience of this.

I am 14ish weeks pregnant (I say ish has haven't had a scan yet) and have had a constant headache for about a week.

Some day's it's worse than others, Some day's it's barely noticable but all the while it is still there.

I drink loads of water throughout the day, I eat small and regularly. I have tried to combat it with paracetomol and had no luck with it shifting.

Fortunately my Ds sleeps 7pm-8am so I have been having lots of early nights and to try get away from the headache, just for a while, I have been napping when Ds naps.

I just don't know what else to to. MW is only available 1 day every 2 weeks so never has any appointments before 4 weeks time.

Trying to keep an 11month old occupied all day on my own with this headache is really getting to me and I'm sure Ds is picking up on the stress too.

A friend of mine had some severe headaches when pregnant and had physiotherapy as it was related to her very tight neck and shoulders from her job.

I'm sure it must be getting you down and even if you can't get an appointment with your midwife you should be able to speak to your midwife or an on call midwife for some advice.

If not then just go to your Dr. it may not be related to your pregnancy and I'm sure they'd be happy to treat your headache as they would someone who wasn't pregnant.

Hope you manage to sort it out!

Oh, you must be totally miserable.

I had terrible faceache/sinusitis with DS3 and had a two week headache in weeks 6 and 7 for this pg. In both cases, acupuncture fixed it. That's just me, though, but I'd hope it would work for you. It's just a bit pricey but I think worth it.

Hi is your blood pressure ok? I mentioned to my midwife on one visit that id been having a lot of headaches and she said my blood pressure was up. Also had some blurred vision. she sent me for blood tests & monitoring at hospital - was sent home afterwards with all clear but might be worth getting checked out just in case
