Hair on legs stopped growing?

Just a silly question really, with my first pregnancy I didn't have leg hair at all but this time I am 17 weeks and still epilating every week.

As it's a few weeks until my 20 week scan we are trying to guess the sex of the baby! I had a boy first time around and wondered if there were others who's leg hair had stopped growing and what sex they had?

When pregnant the first time everyone I knew had been sick with boys and not at all with girls. Since then I know people who have been sick with girls and seen threads here where it really varies, just wondered if this is another symptom that may be more strongly sex related

I had no hair growth with my first 2 pregnancies - both girls.
This time I definately have got hair growth!!

I'm pregnant with a girl, and although my leg hair hasn't come to a complete stop, I can safely go a fortnight without my venus

No hair this time - gender unknown (I'm also 17 weeks).

No morning sickness either time.

Much grumpier this time though.

Why does that happen anyway? And why couldn't underarm hair stop growing too - we get few enough perks in pregnancy after all.

I think I'm grumpier this pregnancy too yama - not sure I'd put that down to this one being a boy though. More the strain of being pregnant with a toddler!

what about hair falling out?? my arms are bald!!

didn't notice any difference in my hair last pg, except the hair on my head stank for some reason so perhaps i am having a girl this time

Leg hair has almost disappeared this pregnancy--I'm expecting a girl. BUT, I've got lots and lots more downy hair on my jaw near my ears?! Charming. I hope it disappears once the baby arrives!

Yes Crapweasel - my dd is 4 and seems to have been on a course on how to annoy me.

Oh well, another theory out the window! Will have to wait a few more weeks. It's funny that it happens but was glad of it last time especially at the end with huge bump. Looks like I'll have to get hubby into action this time around .

I agree crapweasel would be handy for it to stop growing in your armpits!

Only had no hair on my legs last time didn't notice anything on my arms bamboobutton, nothing has changed anywhere this time!

Loads of hair in the first months (I mean, loads!) and then after about 5 months the growing decreased a lot (to much less than before the pregnancy). I'm having a boy.

Dammit man - i wish my leg hair would stop growing. I'm so pre-occupied with the pregancy i totally forget to shave and found myself standing at aqua-natal class the other day resembling more of a sasquatch than a "glowing" pregnant woman!

Preg with girl after 3 boys and only this time has my leg hair stopped growing.

Didnt have any sickness with either - both boys. Hair normal in first but seems to have fallen out of legs & arms this time for some strange reason havent shaved my legs for months & there is nothing there!

i also thought the lack of hair thing was a girl thing until i found out my new bean is a boy!
