It's been on and off, but when on it's a real throbbing whole head pain. Slightly migraine-ish, can't really focus very well.

Anyone experienced the same? I'm just a bit worried about taking paracetamol every day...

I had this a lot during my pregnancies, it is really horrible isn't it - my sympathies are with you. Don't think you can do anything about it except hope it passes (mine did after 2nd trimester), midwives never had much to say about it. You could try using the gel stick (4head?) to help the pain as an alternative to paracetamol.

I had them too, until about a month ago (I'm 25 weeks now), and totally sympathise - they were horrible. I basically rested if I could when they hit, and took paracetamol if I was going in to work or otherwise needed to be compos mentis. Glad it's over -- but you shouldn't worry, apparently headaches are pretty common in pregnancy.

Have you had high blood pressure at all? It maybe worth giving your midwife a call and just having a chat as this can be a sign and it would be good to monitor it, expecially with visual disturbance too.
