Hi,

I have just found out i am pregnant :-) and my actual period is due tommorow, despite seeing "pregnant" and about 10 lines i still cant believe it and i am still checking for my period.

I'm having period type pains and slight backache (as if i were due on) and i find my self running to the loo and checking and literally examing the tissue
and i think oh no was that a bit of brown
ahhhh tell me this is something you have done i'm becomming an obsessive knicker checker lol

Aaww i know the feeling im now 41weeks pregnant, at the begining i was exactly the same! i think if youve wanted a baby when you fall it seems so sureal, that it seems to good to be true so every tiny thing you feel you have 2 check, also i checked constantly as soon as i felt discharge come out, i was paranoid it was going to be blood.
My best advice is to rellax and be happy at this part, you have lots of thing to come, i know its hard but its really not worth checking all the time, youll make yourself like me...paranoid, and thats not good lol.
wish you all the best in your pregnancy.
P.S= be warned it goes super quick!

This is my 3rd and i really wanted to be "chilled" but i think i'm worse lol.

yep the discharge pops out and i go running to make sure its not blood!! TMI

Yes i dont think it matters how many you have, each time i think your just as paranoid!!
I reeeaaallly dont want to swap lol, im am sooo sick and tired ha ha, the 2nd trimester i found the best, the 1st and 3rd thee worst. i hope she comes soon too but shes being very lazy!!!
I hope your able to chill soon! i think it took me till 3months to chill, i hope yours is more like 3days tho!

BranflakeGirl · 19/03/2010 21:34

musie123, you are def not the only one! I totally did that. Even now into my 2nd trimester I keep wanting to get a test kit just to check! I am officially nuts!!!!

waitingimpatiently · 19/03/2010 21:42

I think we are all mad knicker checkers (I love that phrase I will use it always) because yeah I do that (still).

I've seen my baby on the scan (not heard it's heartbeat but seen it) and I am still paranoid. Am in my second trimester.

And period type pain and backache are normal (if this is your first pregnancy).

Aw im so sorry to hear that. how many tests did you do? Sometime though in pregnancy you can spot a little bit, some woman even have blood throughout, my sister did in all four of her pregnancys and her little ones were fine. i wish you all the best.

mumsie123 · 20/03/2010 16:12

About 12 tests and yesterday i finally got a positive on the digital tests!!

Its alot of brown stuff now, i have been lying down taking it easy as told to by doctors but every time i stand up and go to the loo it's there.

I cant do to much as im so early i was only due on yesterday so its more than likely a chemical oregnancy which i should be thankful it wasnt further on and this will just be classed as a period and i woldnt of know any diffrence if i hadn't done a test. But i also have to take a test after the bleeding stops see what happens really, waiting game.
