Braxton Hicks in the night?

Has anyone ever been woken up by Braxton Hicks contractions? I was exhausted last night (had to pick up my boyfriend from the station at midnight) and then suddenly woke up with mild but bearable abdominal pain. It went away and then came back every few minutes, until I got up and walked around.

I have the same thing. I am 36 weeks and just recently have they woken me up at night. I don;t have them during the day and I drink 60 oz of water / day so I can't imagine its dehyrdation. They are quite painful but irregular, maybe once on hour. So they must be BH, but I didn't expect them to be this painful.

Glad it's not just me. Now 35 weeks and in the last week or so BH have been waking me once or twice a night. Have found that rolling onto my other side does help although initially makes them more uncomfortable but only for a couple of minutes.
