False labour at 34 weeks?

At about 6.30 last night I felt suddenly nauseous, lots of back and tummy ache simultaneously. Moving position didn't seem to help and the peaks of the pain came at 6 minute intervals. The at about 8.30 everything stopped. I know this wasn't real labour as everything stopped but I'm just wondering whether it is anything to worry about given that I am only 34+5?
This is DC2 but with DC1 I didn't have any BH or cramps and ended up being induced 11 days overdue so I have no previous experience of natural labour. Sorry if this seems like I'm being worried over nothing.

I had BH off and on from about 35/36 weeks with both dc's and from what you've said it sounds the same as what I had. I'm not an expert, just going on my experience. You could always ask at your next ante-natal check if you're worried.

If it was natural labour the pain gets stronger and closer together. It's true when they say that you know when it's real labour.

Thanks duvet queen. Don't think this is BH as having been having them regularly since about 20 weeks (including today) and although they can be uncomfortable, the pain last night was completely different.

Totally agree with you that i'm sure I'll know if it's real labour which this clearly wasn't but just concerned that this may have been a indicator of something I ought to be concerned about. Will mention to m/w next week.

Due to urinary tract infection possibly, you should get yourself checked.
