When do you get tender breasts?

I'm 37 weeks and noticed no change until now.
Since yesterday they've been incredibly tender like something's finally going on.
Could this be related to labour being near?

Im now 40 plus 5days pregnant, at the beggining my breasts were very itchy and then they got sore at around 20weeks and i have been leaking colostrum since around 26 weeks.Iv never heard that it is related, but you never know, fingers crossed for you as going over is a nightmare!

I am 36 weeks and mine have become very tender since about 34 weeks - not generally - but to touch and they always feel very hot now.

Colostrum has been leaking randomly since about 28ish weeks and actually ran from one earlier this evening as I sat topless fanning myself through a hot flush.

hot flushes are very annoying!
