Stomach Pains

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant with my second child. Since lunchtime today I have been experiencing burning / stinging pains in my lower stomach - just below my tummy button which have slowly spread towards my right side. I have tried calling my midwife but to no avail.

Please help. Any ideas that my help ease the pain?

Call the out of hours or NHS direct if you can, it sounds like cystitis or a UTI so you could do with it being checked ASAP. I hope you are OK.

hi thanks for your message. Just tried having a hot bath but doesn't seem to have done anything so will give them a call.

I hope you get it sorted. Take a water sample with you if they make you an appointment with the out of hours, just incase it's a UTI, they are really common in pregnancy.
