I am now 14.5 weeks pg, 4th pregnancy. I initially felt flutterings and movement around the 12 week mark, (which is about when I felt DC3)just before dating scan.
These feelings lasted about a week. Now I've pretty much had a week where I have felt nothing. I am trying not to worry as am sure it's fine. This has been a 'paranoid pg after an MMCs' so not the easiest of rides.
Just wanted to ask if anyone else had felt movement early then nothing foor a while?? Only I remember them just getting more frequent and strong with last DC.

I am also about 15 weeks pregnant with dc4 and have been able to feel movement for a few weeks. That said, the movement is quite "fluttery" and I can only really feel it if I am paying attention, or if I'm resting. Its not like at 6 or 7 months when the kicking wakes me up in the night. So, yes, there have been days on end when I haven't felt the baby, and wondered if everything is alright, but then a few days on if I have been napping in the afternoon I can feel it moving again.

I hope everything goes well for you for this pregnancy.

Yes -- this is absolutely completely normal.

You should not be expecting daily movements until around the 20-24 week mark, or that is how my obstetrician explained it to me when I panicked with exactly the same question.

Your baby is very small at the moment and has plenty of space to hide. He or she is most likely kicking inwards and so you are not feeling anything.

Thankyou both; peasandbaeans ;napping in the day??!!! God what a privilege!! Think I had to give that up years ago!
Hopefully the worry is ok and I will be eating my words when kept awake all night by kicking!

I'm pregnant with my second and felt it at 13 weeks and then not again for 2 weeks, really wouldn't worry.

I remember feeling my first at 17 weeks but not how frequently afterwards.

Have had a midwife appointment in between and heard baby's heartbeat so I'm sure it's fine.

Must depend a lot on baby's position, your position and what else is going on inside as baby's pretty small at this time.

@fannyingaboutagain - I know this is an old thread but was everything okay as I’m currently in the same situation as you described in your post x
