Hi ladies, I would very much like your opinion.

I'm due on fri/sat and took a first response test this morning and it came up with a very very faint line straight away (so not evap line?) has anyone else had this?

Also what do you think, I feel really upset and I'm so inpatient.

Sorry, at first I thought you meant you were DUE (as in baby) on Friday and I wondered why on earth you would take a test? That might be confusing people and why this hasn't been answered yet.

I totally understand your impatience. A fait line is a good sign, could you do another test? I find that the tests are usually so much clearer after your period is due, which isn't much help to you, I know.

Try not to obsess, there's nothing you can do about it. Easier said than done but try to stay occupied otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy. Hope it turns out the way you want

As far as I know a positive is a positive - so looks like you're pregnant. Like Tlf says it will get stronger once your period is late. You say you are upset? Would you be pleased with a positive?

soooooo pleased actually over the moon, just feel a bit in limbo because the "not pregnant" on the clear blue digital.

I had a not pregnant on the clear blue digital 2 days before i was due but a positive 4 days later, I think they are less sensative than the first response ones

Got loads of positives not dark though faint but you can see them without holding them up to the light. but there not getting much darker :-(

My first pg test was a tesco's cheapie and I thought I'd cocked it up then there was a faint line. Did another one the next morning, still faint line. However a line is a line! Wait until closer to AF and try the digital one again. I got a positive on the digital one the following day after the second faint line. I knew I was pg, but my DH wouldn't believe the faint line.

Maybe a cb digi would give a better result today 2 days before due.

The strength of the line is nothing to do with the strength of the pregnancy. It's all to do with the concentration of urine, sensitivity and limitations of test. I had a successfull pregnancy and only ever had faint lines. A line is a line is a line.

And CB digi are not as sensitive as others.

Just give it a few days. ATM, you are pg.

I agree i think CB digital is not very sensitive so i dont want to drive myself mad!!! i have my positive im happy obviously nervous like anyone would be.maybe slightly more nerotic lol but only because i want another baby so much im just scared.

I have taken a lot of tests last few days and it has got slightly darker and always been a line there, ionly ever did 1 with my last 2 DC and didnt do any so why on earth i feel the need to drive myself mad i dont know so it stops now :-) im not testing anymore and im going to chill out.

When I took my first test I was convinced that if you tilted it slightly to one side you could just about make out a line. Husband said nothing there.

Took another next day. Line VERY faint but was definitely there that time. DH sort of agreed that time but still not too sure.

3 days later he asked "are you sure you're pregnant" wouldnt actually believe me until i took a digital one that spelled it out. I was 4/5 days overdue by then tho!
