Ladies,

I have the most afwul nights sleep as my chest pains are so bad and the only thing that helps is pacing about the house...

Is there anything I can do/take to relief the pain...?

Gaviscon, peppermint tea work for me. I was getting the most awful pains for a couple of weeks but like most hideous symptoms, it passed (pardon the pun!)

Have you tried getting down on all fours and slightly arching then releasing your back, and rocking your pelvis forward and back? (privacy is nice for this one.)
If it's comfortable to get your head lower than your hips, that often helps me get rid of a painful fart.
Misery for you. Good luck!

How long have you had this? How do you know it's trapped wind?

It started 2 days ago... As soon as I burp I do feel slightly better but I have just been to the chemist and the pharmacist suggested Gaviscon.... Fingers crossed this helps and the problem passes!!

Blackcurrants will also try the doggy style.
