Wow- bump shape unrecognisable!

I'm 30+ weeks and left work early today as my belly was churning and I was sick a few times. Getting ready for bed I was shocked seeing my bump! It's a whole new shape. He was so active I think on retrospect that made me queasy. Yesterday my boobs sat on my belly (nice..) but now there's a clear space between and the bump's gone from a football to a teardrop shape. The bottom of the curve is really really low. About 10min ago bump went rock hard too. Braxton hicks? Baby moving down? It's so weird to see your body shift shape so much in one day!! I could see my belly button yesterday, but now I can't even stretch to see it.

sounds like the babys head has dropped down do you have many weeks left to go? are you 30 weeks or 30+ weeks? (sounds like a stupid question but...) how exciting for you

Sounds like your baby is engaging which can cause a dramatic change in shape but don't worry as they can pop in and out of the pelvis quite frequently until it's time to give birth and BH can also change the shape of the bump too.

I'm 30+5, missed out the last bit. Not worried, in fact I feel better! Less breathless for a start.
