please help me with the dates

im due the 5th april , so counted backwards 40 weeks it takes me to july 6th , so does that mean i concieved within the 2 weeks before or ??? confused , and would like to know as was on holiday the end of june , and would like to know if i concieved whilst away .
which would be lovely as it was our honeymoon please help

Your due date should be 40 weeks after the date of your last period - did you tell them this was July 6th? It is likely you concieved around 2 weeks after this based on average ovulation.

The 40 weeks is dated from your LMP, assumed to be 14 days before ovulation, so your due date suggests you ovulated and conceived 2 weeks AFTER 6th July, i.e. around 20th July. Is the EDD based on a scan?
