I am just posting this in the hope of a bit of reassurance or advice really.
I found out 13 days ago that i am pregnant. It's very early days. I know when i ov and i am now 6weeks. Last wed - so 4 weeks and 6 days - i had a bit of spotting,went to dr, ref for scan the next morning. So Thurs morn at 5 weeks exactly had both types of scan - nothing could be seen in womb or tube. Womb lining had thickened and there was no 'free fluid' - whatever that means.
They took my HCG which was only 108 so pretty low. 48 hours later the repeat blood test showed my levels had doubled to 220. The registrar agreed with me that the levels are low but but the fact that they are doubling is significant. sunday i had a mixture of bright red and brown blood. No gushing. Stained a mini-pad. No pain.last night and this morning had some bright red blood, no gushing/clots/pain. Felt slight pressure in my womb before it happened though.
There is no point having another scan until my levels rise to 1000+ as they won't be able to see anything so i am being scanned next week but told to go straight in if i experience pain. I am having bloods taken again on saturday.
I am very worried that this could be another ep. I had an ep with a heartbeat at 8 weeks so my hcg levels were rising normally. They couldn't find anything in my womb apart from an empty sac. They found the ep 12 hours before it ruptured (as to why they allowed it to rupture is a whole other story!).
That's it really.
I feel that this pregnancy won't make it and just hoping for an m/c if that is the case and not another e/p. Apart from wanting to live i also don't want to lose my remaining tube!
