Noticed tonight that my feet have started to swell and the skin feels tight, is this normal this early on?

I have done a lot of walking today so would that have made a difference?

this happened to me!!
was in the summer, and i'd been on my feet all day. my feet bulged through my sandals, which was slightly odd looking.

I had this pretty much all the way through my pregnancy with DD. They checked my blood pressure and urine regularly but with me, it was just "one of those things" and went away a week or two after giving birth (thank goodness!!).

Try not to worry (easier said than done I know) but if you are concerned, pop down to see your GP who will check blood pressure for you (I also bought one of those electric BP monitors from the chemist which I found quite reassuring). I was also advised to keep feet elevated where possible and to put a pillow under the end of my mattress to keep feet slightly higher when sleeping.
