HCG levels after mc

Hello all

I had an early mc/chemical preg last month and started bleeding on the 6th Feb, I don't really know how far along I was but about 5 weeks at most. It was just like a normal period and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't got the BFP previously.

We started trying again straight away and I got a BFP but now I am nervous it is the residual HCG left in my system. Is this likely? I hope not as I did a test while I was bleeding and that was neg so I think they cleared very quickly but now I'm not sure what to believe.

Is this a trip to the GP?

If you have a negative test during the MC that would suggest that your levels had fallen very swiftly back to normal
And that now you have a new positive, because of new rising levels, ie you are pregnant, congratulations
bHCg levels can fall at such different rates following a MC, there is no right or wrong rate.
I think you are most likely pregnant again

Thank you, I think logic says I must be pregnant but I need something to worry about! I keep thinking I messed up the negative test somehow but I don't think I did.
