I am now pregnant with my third child and just passed the halfway mark!! and I feel amazing!!

After my first I suffered from postnatal depression and I have to admit that I have realised that i feel more normal being pregnant than not!! What can I do? I am a little panicky about getting my body back!! Is this 'normal'?

Please help ladies?

Hi, I had postnatal depression with my first child and again with my second, it took a little longer to come with my second but i knew what to expect so it wasnt as bad, i also got treatment a lot sooner which helped. I was adivsed that if you have it once you dont always get it again but it is likely so just keep an eye on yourself and dont be afraid to ask for help!! Im scared this time as ive been very up and down during my pregnancy and feel im at risk of just spiraling after baby number 3 comes, but i expressed my concerns to the midwife and they are keeping an eye on me.

As for getting your body back i think about 98% of pregnant women worry about that at some stage either before or just after the birth. I wouldnt worry too much but if you start to get very concerned or start to feel the need to diet or get depressed about it id talk to your midwife or GP.

Hope this helps.
