Is there a scan after 20 week scan?

Hi this may be a silly question, but just wondered if the 20 week scan is the last one the nhs offer?

yes unless you are high risk or they have particular worried eg small for dates etc

Routinely it is usually the last (sometimes the only if as in my PCT they don't do a 12 week scan) but if they suspect low placenta/lack of amneotic fluids or other complication you will have another scan. I think I had one at 34 weeks because at 20 weeks the placenta looked low. If it was still low they were going to book me in for a C section. Fortunately it had shifted.

Not unless you need further monitoring, ie Growth scans, positioning scans if baby is breech, placenta positioning.

Unless you pay for a private or 3D one
