Sharp stabby cervix type pain at 30 weeks

I know that sometimes the baby can headbutt the cervix, it's similar to that kind of pain except that I know it's not the baby doing it as it's been happening when I walking around the last 30 mins or so. Had a lot of braxton hicks recently although I know that's normal.

Any idea what this could be? Thanks.

I was told it was something to do with the cervix dialating/opening. Might be remembering that wrong though.
I'm no help, ignore me.

eh, what? I'm 30 weeks! bloody hope it's nothing like that! It definitely feels cervixy though. No discharge or bleeding that I've noticed.

I am 35 weeks and have had on occassion this - I have been told its the baby's head moving and as its quite big it can cause a bit of uncomfort in the cervix/pelvic area. I wouldn't overly worry about it, just those aches and pains we get as we get further along. GL x

im 26 weeks and been having twisting pains near hips/ bottom of bump

i realised i seemed to be getting them the days DS was running me ragged-no time for a good drink!

i do remember though that grinding feeling of DS head against cervix. really shocking at first.

Thanks. Hmm, I spose it's silly to assume that it definitely isn't the baby just because I'm walking around when it happens. She is moving round a lot today, and I'm getting a lot more pressure so maybe she's just got herself head down.
