Ditto, add milk to that (along with liquorice etc) I think it's partly from fear after hearing that old wife's tale 'you lose a tooth with every pregnancy' which might have made sense in Victorian times but less so in 2010.

My mum lost a tooth for every pregnancy and I wsn't born in victorian times! But I get your point.

I was eating loads of cheese too initially but calmed down now (26 wks). Try natural yogurt for calcium. Apparently cheese contains a lot of salt!

thats so wierd - ive been eating whole blocks at a time - whats even wierder is that i dont like icecream havent eaten it for about 10 years and i dont ever drink milk - then the other day just in the supermarket felt like i had to buy it - have been eating loads and strawberry milkshake - im wondering if my body is trying to tell me i need more calcium cus i havent eaten it for the first 9 weeks (now 10). so wierd i hated it b4 preg and cant get enuf now!
