Sorry ladies; I will try not to post again but am out of my head with worry now. Have only recently posted about my anxieties so feel quite embarrassed. Am 12 weeks today and due for dating scan Saturday. Have had very odd almost orangy discharge for a few days on and off, but not when I wipe, only when it accumulates (sorry to be graphic.) O.night some possibly v.light brown discharge; again not when wiping. Now I have definite smears of brown and had a tiny spot of bright red last night too.
My only experiences of brown discharge have led to 2 miscarriages, one a MMC last year. Does this always mean something is wrong or could there really be light at the end of the tunnel? It is an extremely stressful time for my family right now and Saturday seems forever away. I still have breast tenderness and I keep feeling flutterings on and off, which I now am doubting (despite this being #4 and it all feeling familiar.)
Thanks for reading, and any advice or positive input from those who may have been here before is welcome. And I will so try to not post again, lest I be deemed stupid or off me trolley! Thankyou.

Hi Catbus,
I don't have any answers but didn't want to leave your post. It's terribly stressful for you and I can relate to your worries, having miscarried myself at around 10 wks.

It's great you still have breast tenderness - my first indication that something was wrong was the sudden loss of morning sickness and constipation.

Not trying to be thick but what does #4 mean?

Really hope the bleeding/discharge calms down for you. I think it is possible to bleed and go on to have a successful pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you x

catbus I know it's a very worrying time. As the rational part of your brain knows, pregnancy makes you notice/obsess about/doubt all sorts of bodily happenings. You can imagine symptoms that aren't there and ignore ones that are. What you describe could be nothing. You won't know for sure until the scan.

Lots of people say they get all sorts of colour discharge and their pregnancy is fine. FWIW I've had 2 MMCs; the first I had absolutely no symptoms or worries, and at 13 week scan, baby had died at 12 weeks. 2nd time I was aware of everything, had some tummy twinges and some discharge changes, and at 11 week scan baby had died at 9 weeks. I suppose I'm trying to say please don't worry, easier to say than do I know.

All the best - I hope it all works out for you.

RoscatThankyou; #4=hopefully my 4th child!
JollsterThankyou and really sorry to hear you have gone through it twice. When you say discharge changes, what did you mean? Hope you don't mind me asking.

no don't mind - but as I say could be unrelated to my MMC. Had a few days of very yellow discharge. Have read on other threads that can be down to Pregnacare Vits. Then went clear again, then had a couple of days with a tiny bit of brown. Then one morning a pinky watery discharge; that's when I went to EPU.
But on the other hamd with my son, had a massive bright red gushy bleed at 14 weeks, and all was fine.

I hope all goes well for you - keep us posted.
