Yep. I wept all over the midwife at one of my antenatal classes. No reason. She asked how I was doing and that was it - waterworks!

Glad it's not just me. Have been in tears this week over new boiler installed and at prospect of having to go back to work full-time when this DC (no.2) is 4 months old. Yet both of these things have been in my mind for quite awhile but not reduced me to tears before.
Also seem to be more hormonal again in terms of one minute having loads of energy and the next being dead tired and my skin has become spotty worse than when I was a teenager.

On the book day costume how about a pirate as thye can be done really easily and there are loads of pirate stories to pick from depending how old your child is. Just a cardboard hat or bandana, a cardboard tube telescope and a stripy top and homemade eye patch. It's my stand by for last minute/ too knackered etc fancy dress.
