Just been sent a link to this website. Much as I'm unimpressed by many aspects of my and others' experience of hospital antenatal, labour and postnatal care in the UK, this website certainly puts things into a different perspective.

My favourite quote so far is from the OB who said they didn't think his client should give birth in a squatting position because it would be "too hard on my (i.e. his) back"

some drs really do say inappropriate things - my sister was told "gosh your stretchmarks are the worst i have ever seen" - that made her feel great!

at nipple inspection and telling mothers if they will be able to BF their child or not according to the shape of their breast or nipples!!! (I think on last page)
